WARNING....IT IS GONNA GET MESSY!!
You will need:-
6 Parts Ground Charcoal
6 Drops Essential Oil
2 to 4 parts of your chosen incense
This can get messy, so I would also recommend LOTS of newspaper and a mask of some sort so you don't breathe in lots of charcoal dust!
Method:-
To make thinks a bit easier , place the charcoal in a plastic bag and beat it with a hammer or some other heavy object.
Mix the first 4 ingredients in the pestle until well blended.
Place all these ingredients in a bowl, and combine then well with your hands, thinking all the time of your intended purpose.
Next add the Tragacanth glue or Gum Arabic
Now shape the mixture into small cones and let it dry slowly for between 2 and 7 days, either in the sun or an airing cupboard.
To make professional looking cones try using the nozzle from an old icing bag as a mould. Pack in the mixture and then tap the icing cone on a flat surface and the little Incense Cone should slide out.
Final Word.....Think "SAFETY" at all times, you are making something that contains oils and charcoal and is designed to burn slowly when lit...NEVER knock it about when mixing the ingredients...
